No hes not in his prime although he looked good against Mayweather. He was probably at his peak in the Tito fight.

No if hatton beats a past prime castillo, he has just beat another guy that was past is prime, just like Zoo, and to make it better....its just a guy floyd beat when he was in his prime, jst to add somethin else..oscar isnt shot fighter its just he has been fighting wrong weights and been fighting to far between fights, he looked ok against hopkins but the weight affected him alot, look really good against Mayorga and looked ok against floyd, he should be fightin at 154 or 147Comment

I never thought DLH was a great fighter but an elite fight yes. I know the topic starter is attempting to make comparison's between PBF and Hatton but its apples and oranges. PBF is coming up in weight to fight DLH. Hatton is not coming up in weight to fight Castillo is the one coming up in weight.Comment

He stood in with the p4p best and lost a narrow decision, one judge gives him the 12th and we're looking at a draw. So how is DLH "finished"? And what are you implying about Floyd's abilities if he barely beat a man that's "finished"?Comment

oscar clearly past his prime at this stage of his career k.ouma would outwork him easily
but hes not shot
he really lacks the jab/footwork/movement that he had in his prime
prime oscar would beat welter/jr middle floyd mayweather
"a good big fighter always beats a good little fighter"Comment

If he can only win a close split decision against a past prime De La Hoya, Floyd Mayweather would probably have been beaten easily by DLH at his peak.Comment
