This is going to be a good fight & I'm surprised that both camps have decided to put their fighters in against each other at this stage in their careers. They should be commended for doing this like Miranda & Pavlik.

I agree that its good news that they are making this fight happen but really neither one of these guys has proven anything as a pro yet. One of the guys gets hype mainly because of where he is from and the other guy gets hype mainly for his amateur career, thats why they are getting pretty good money and HBO television for this fight. Don't get me wrong it is always great to get two young prospects to fight one another but they both have a long way to go to prove themselves as serious contenders.

actually winning this fight makes either guy a contender, the fact of the matter is that this fight is at super middleweight, which is a sorry ass division if there ever was one.

there is calzaghe, kessler, and then a bunch of umremarkable guys and young unproven ones.

the winner if this fight will probably find himself in the top-15 of at least one of the organizations, and will only be a few well chosen opponents away from a title shot regardless of how you cut it.

i say dirrell wins and he can go right into a class with manfredo, beyer, soliman, mundine... he just needs the experience he is a better fighter than any of the above mentioned

Sheika is WAY past his prime. If Jaidon can't beat him, HE needs to retire!

Unusual that either of them are taking this fight so early in their careers..... you guys may not know much about either guy but believe me it is rare to see two young guys with skills and potential matching up like this in a fight that probably isnt paying a ton of money an dis not for a title, etc. Good GOOD fight with a VERY GOOD contrast in styles.
I did'nt know about this.....yeah sounds like a very good match-up.I have a seen a little of both fighters and have really taken a liking to both the Dirrells.......More so Anthony though rather than Andre.I would like Anthony to stop Stevens while Andre I could see getting stopped by Stevens so we'll see.....Maybe if Stevens beats Andre, Anthony would want to try and avenge the loss for his brother.
