Im not sure about this, i took De La Hoya's word for it, but again im not sure,

My best friends fav fighter is DLH and says Oscar defenatley took a dive, thing is, why would he do that for hopkins?
I remember watching it on youtube and it does sound like you hear "bodyshot" shouted out quite a few times.

I dont think he took a dive or a fix was in. The only reason it really gets questioned so much is because Oscar and Bernard became lovers afterwards....

Fact is I think the shot hurt him look at Gatti vs Leija for example. The only thing I dispute is that I feel Oscar could have gotten back up but didnt because he knew he was to deep in over his head and didnt need a beating like Bernard gave Tito or Joppy.

I dont think he was really hurt at all. It looks like he just quit whether that was premediated or not I dont know.

            Somebody should parody fights.

It'd be funny doing one for Hopkins/De La Hoya

From the five minute delayed reaction to him beating the ground.

At least he tried to add a little charisma to it.

The delayed response happens with a body shot like that...Have someone hit you where he got hit and you will see it takes a few seconds for the pain to set in...Happened to me many times.

Lets be honest though, there is no real evidence that Oscar took a dive. Its all speculation. I speculate that Oscar did not take a dive. I can't imagine Bernard Hopkins asking Oscar to lose so he can join Golden Boy. Just can't see it. I also can't see Oscar losing on purpose ecspecially when he was doing good in the fight.
