Did De La Hoya take a dive against Hopkins?

Compare the shot Oscar took to this one.

Watch around 3:30 and you will see a body shot ala bernard hopkins... Same **** happened to Oscar.. further makes me believe he didn't take a dive.

Regarding the fight itself I would say I could smell something "unusual" from the very beginning..

Bernard was doing a bad acting job of some kind..

He was holding back FOR SURE.

What about the allegations that Someone shouted 'Body Shot', then the punch landed?

Im not sure about this, i took De La Hoya's word for it, but again im not sure,

My best friends fav fighter is DLH and says Oscar defenatley took a dive, thing is, why would he do that for hopkins?

Wasn't Oscar taking on a bigger man? The lightest body shot could have taken him down. And floyd was the lighter man in the Oscar fight, the only difference is that floyd ran around the ring like a *****. It's an example why they shouldn't allow smaller guys to fight bigger guys in boxing. We get fights like these, called mis-matches. We have floyd hit and run because he weighs only 148, while oscar is probably like 165 or more after the weigh-ins.

No way, Just cos someone weights 5 or 6 more pounds then you, doesnt mean one body shot can take you down,

Thus why a 148 pound floyd Mayweather nearly dropped a 158 pound Oscar de la Hoya in rounds 5 and 12 of their fight.

And why he two clean shots from De La Hoya at the end of the 12th.

I dunno what fight you were watching, round 5 he had oscar legs all over the place from a hook off the ropes,

Round 12 a straight right hand had his legs all over the place again, he almost went down both times,

If anyone wants to put these rounds up now i'd be happy to point out when and where this happens.

And anyways, why should i take you seriously, you said De La Hoya was gonna win anyways lol.

'The slighest body shot could have taken him down'

                    lol

You think he can take a shot from Vargas? A guy who weights around 160+ on fight night, but the slighest shot from hopkins will put him down?

                    please.
