Oscar was right, if he didn't attack, there wouldn't be a fight

Oscar pressed the attack and the fight. He made the fight what it was. If he didn't attack, Floyd never would have. I think not enough credit is given to a fighter who is pressing the attack and trying to make it into a fight. Sure Floyd had his openings and spots to land but that's cause Oscar gave him those openings by pressing the attack. If Oscar didn't, Floyd wouldn't and there'd be no fight and **** to score. I think Oscar could have won the fight alone on being the fighter in the ring that wanted to win it more. I hate guys that go backwards and get wins. Readjust the point system!

I dunno, Mayweather Sr said that even by the point system Oscar won. I think the real problem is counting shots that didnt land.

so what, oscar has a go-forward aggressive style, all styles are different. according to your logic ali shouldnt have won decisions since he wasn't a plodding aggressive fighter. points for aggression are given, when the AGGRESSION is EFFECTIVE. you don't just get points for going forward

If you call coming forward not throwing punches pressing a fight, then sure I believe that.

Sr. didn't really want to answer it, he was pressured by Merchant, but I guess the lowlife he is he went with Oscar to get his job back.

he did that for 3-4 rounds, while floyd did that for the rest of the fight.

mayweather is overrated and oscars getting better .. mayweather has reached his peak the only way he could get better would be to turn southpaw ... if he did he would be an in shape left handed toney.. mayweather goes against his joints so his hands are ****ed up and if he didint run 8-10 miles per day his knees would be ****ed up...i admire his heart and dedication but if he fought southpaw with all that trainin he does he would be unstoppable for years... he really has no choice but to retire .. it would be great if he took of 2-3 years and trained southpaw secretly and came back and really dominated..
