lol,,,I love how everyone is a hater when a nuthugger doesnt wanna hear what he wants to hear. number 1,,,,Ive never been a big dlh fan. floyd hasnt beaten one great fighter in his prime. thats not an opinion,,,,its a fact. with the opposition he's beaten you really think he's an all time great? dlh is the best guy he's fought and dlh at this point in his career isnt great and he's not as good as mosely,,,or winky wright. he needs to fight and beat those 2 guys before he can even be considered a great fighter. he has great talent,,,,but whether he ends up an all time great remains to be seen. end of story. happy hugging

I love it how the haters hate to be called haters but love to call fans nutthuggers..Funny aint it..Floyd has won belts in every division he has ever fought in...Oh and about a year or two ago Sugar was suppose to be washed up but now Floyd MUST fight him..Give me a break..Pretty Boy distroys him and then he is washed up also..The boy can't win for losing..Of course losing is not an option..

Hate to burst your bubble but Floyd lost only in the minds of haters, Mexicans, brainwashed, and ******s, all the 3 judges and most of the press had Mayweather clearly winning that fight.

Both Mosley and Hatton turned down PBF, infact Mosley moved up to welterweight becuse he knew Mayweather was after him, so Mosley's been avoiding Floyd for a long time. Margarito who, nobody knows who the **** he is, Winky is fighting Hopkins at 175 so he's too damn big for Floyd at this time.

If Floyd retires is becuase there is nothing else for him to prove, there is not too many big fights for Floyd at this time, maybe Mosley or Taylor at 160.

Wow, I openned this thread thinking that it was going to be a Floyd festival. Sadly it is not. What can I say, I like Floyd but no one is unbeatable. He has made a whole lot of guys look like they didn't belong in the same ring as him. That is just my opinion. I think he is a great fighter, and I like his fighting style as boring as some people seem to find it.

I like Floyd festivals, someone always rains on the parade. That's ok though. I do think it is a shame that a simple difference of opinion can make so many people hate you so bad.

If Duran had issues with how Leonard boxed and moved, he would have some serious issues with Floyd. Floyd has way better D then Leonard ever had. With that said I dunno who wins different eras different fighters. Lets stick to this era and so far 38 fighters have tried and failed and others who may have been legit threats didn't want to make the fight when they had the chance. Unlike Oscar who accepted the challenge and stepped up. Props to Oscar for always taking the tough fights when they are there to be made.

I don't like the historical "Leonard v.s. Mayweather" type comparisons. Different fighters, different eras. Why can't we just appreciate the best this era has to offer? Would anyone here disagree that Floyd Mayweather Jr. is one of the best fighters if not THE best fighter of his generation?

A lot of casual boxing fans (and not-so-casual for that matter) think Floyd is boring to watch and miss the masterful skill he brings every single time he steps in the ring.

Believe me, I tried in the beginning to not like Floyd - but his boxing skills cannot be denied. The man is on a different level when it comes to speed and defense, and if you appreciate defensive styles in boxing I don't see how you can't respect that. Now if you only crave punchers - he's not your man.
