Lets stick to this era and so far 38 fighters have tried and failed and others who may have been legit threats didn't want to make the fight when they had the chance. Unlike Oscar who accepted the challenge and stepped up. Props to Oscar for always taking the tough fights when they are there to be made.
WTF ........LEONARD WOULD HAVE KILLED FLOYD LEANORED COULD HIT AND BOX FLOYD CAN ONLY RUN......MAN YOU ARE INSANE........WTF.......

I can't beleive how many people are jumping on the Mayweather bandwagon. A big pressure fighter will beat Mayweather. Look ack at the Jesus Chavez fight. he had Mayweather on the ropes all night but just didn't have the power or stamina to win. I give Hatton more of a chance then people think.

My post was about Mayweather Vs Duran not Mayweather Vs Leonard. But since you brought it up I say it would be an interesting match up, 50/50 on who would win but if I had to bet on it I would say SRL because he has faster hands than Floyd and that could give Floyd some trouble I am biased towards SRL though because he is my all time fav fighter and I was born in Wilmington.

hate to burst your bubble but floyd has already lost to castillo in most peoples eyes. anyway,,,if he retires now without a loss on his record its because he's avoided mosely,,,hatton ,,winky wright,,margarito etc. if he wants to be considered an all time great he needs to fight and beat these fighters instead of eking out wins over past there prime dlh's who's already lost several fights in the recent past. I also hope he starts getting gutsier and exchanges more. his doing nothing but counter punching and running gives no entertainment. if he wants to compare himself to srr and srl,,,,he needs to beat those above mentioned names and stand his ground and fight more to be considered in there league. I dont see this happening. sorry nuthuggers

I agree, it seems odd to me that Floyd would retire at a time when there are so many could fights out there for him that would enchance and possibly live up to the legacy that he thinks he has.

Oscar had the fight won through 8 rounds and then for some reason stopped pressing and jabbing.

You have to man-handle a guy like Jr. not dance with him.

Duran's strategy in the first Leonard fight would have been perfect (never let him set and rough him up every time you get inside).

Floyd is good but Duran would have KO'ed him. Duran never had problems with fast or slick fighters and Floyd doesn't have enough power to make Duran respect him.

Duran by KO in 9, end of story!
