Top level boxing requires more skill and ability.

I think BOXER vs MMA guy would make for some huge events.

I think they will happen as well, somewhere down the line when the tension between both sports in unbearable.

And whoever wins wont prove who's the better sport, but they would be really exciting IMO.

And i think its EXCELLENT that UFC will be on HBO. not because im gonna watch it, but because the boxing shows will be better selected, and when they would normally take two fights and make them headlines on two seperate nights, they will make them on the same card or make a doubleheader.

Isn't anyone sick of hearing about this yet .

It's not the same sport both have strong points but is his own and can't and shouldn't be compared .

It takes an insane amount of skill in both sports. If a boxer fought a boxing match against an mma guy, he's probably KO him inside of a few rounds. If an mma guy fought an mma fight against a boxer, he'd KO him within a round, unless got caught with a punch coming in......bottom line, there's many ways to reference and debate, but both sports are greatly entertaining and require, like I said, and insane amount of skill.

              Max Kellerman

If Max Kellerman leaves boxing to do UFC on HBO, then boxing's popularity will increase and UFC's popularity will decline.

As much as Max's commentary annoys me at times I was very happy to see him stand up against Lampley. Lampley made that ****** comment as a last ditch effort. He knew that the fight didn't deliver enough to draw casual fans so he resorted to a ****** comment out of frustration.

His arrogant comment only pushed away the mma fans even more IMO. Thank god Max said something so atleast it doesn't seem like all boxing fans are taking cheap pathetic shots at mma.

Its not mma's fault that it's drawing all the casual fans. If every f'ing boxing match wasn't on ppv or even if there were available on regular cable then that would help boxing more then anything. I'd challenge any casual fan towatch Cotto and Malignaggi and I guarantee they will be interested. Just my .02

I give Max a lot of props because he is speaking his mind. Forget who has been doing what for how long, if you feel you know what you're talking about, then you go ahead and voice your opinion. Forget age and all that stuff, never let anyone make you feel incompetent over something like age. Max is knowledgeable and his opinion is as valid as everyone else's.
