Joe said a few weeks ago he would like to fight both Taylor and Kessler in his last two or three fights before he retires. If he wants to retire undefeated, then he might decide to evade Mikkel but I don't think he will. I think they're about equal right now, so he has about a 50-50 chance of winning, but as he gets into his late 30's, his chances of beating Kessler will decrease.

From a financial perspective though, it makes sense to fight Taylor first, because if he's beaten by Kessler, then his market value will decline substantially. Joe knows he can beat Taylor. He and Warren will make the decisions that will maximize their earnings before Joe retires.
