A pressure fighter would beat Floyd

First of all big props to Floyd for stepping into a division that is way out of his natural weight. He won the fight, no doubt.

Now, Cotto or Hatton can beat Floyd by constantly applying pressure and ripping body shots when Floyd uses his "turn the body away" defense. DLH could have beat Floyd with his left jab alone but he stopped using it.

I have no doubt Cotto can beat Floyd, he would put the pressure on and would hurt him to the body before going to the head.

154 is not his weight he should go back to 147 if he doesn't retire.I would say he still beats them both.

I think Cotto could give Floyd problems.

I think Floyd would eat Hatton for lunch.

The problem Cotto and Hatton would have against PBF is the speed factor. Neither are quick enough to stay with him. Mosley is the only one that can pull it off.

Jose Luis Castillo is far from fast and he gave Floyd a close battle.

I agree. I hope PBF doesn't retire - Cotto vs. PBF would be a great matchup. PBF would lose by TKO or KO in a late round after taking a lot of hard body shots. Hatton vs. PBF would have the same result, if Hatton was in his top shape.

At this point Mosley is the only fighter who could give Floyd a competative fight. I dont know if he could win, But its a fight I want to see. I would expect it to be close.

Exactly. The speed factor is huge. Oscar couldn't handle it and either would Cotto and Hatton. It's easy to say a pressure fighter would beat Floyd, but thats not the case. His defense is too good and he's extremely hard to find. The only person that could match up with him is Mosely.
