Floyd has fought with one hand or one arm injured before. And won.
In his first match against Castillo, he had hurt his shoulder. Some thought Castillo won the fight. Rematch: Mayweather fought healthy and cruised to a rather uneventful UD. Castillo can brawl if he had to. Yet, even against an injured Mayweather, he still kept it a close fight (in the first match).
Tonight...if Oscar senses that Floyd has hurt his hands, he will turn this into a brawl, forcing Mayweather into a war of attrition where Oscar could come out the winner. Oscar is great at throwing combos and he held his own against Hopkins doing just that. Mayweather does not have the power punch that Hopkins has.
Defensively, Mayweather is hard to hit. Mayweather will hit Oscar sparingly to keep that brittle fist useful as long as possible. Those hits are gonna look good to the judges coz he connects with accuracy like none other today.Comment

BOTH hands injured. But Oscar is leagues beyond Hernandez.Mayweather (26-0, 19 KO's) easily dominated the first six rounds of the title fight with sharp, crisp combinations to the head. Hernandez (33-3-1, 21 KO's) lacked the hand speed to stay inside and volley with the champion. At the 2:01 mark of the third, Mayweather (130) rocked Hernandez (130) with two straight right crosses to the chin. The challenger's knees buckled and he appeared headed for the canvas. However, Hernandez remained upright and weathered the storm but with 29-seconds to go in the 3rd, Mayweather nailed the challenger again with a left hook to the jaw. At the sound of the bell to end the round, Hernandez walked back to his stool on his heels.
The champion continued to control the tempo of the fight and scored with lightening quick volleys in the fourth and the fifth rounds. However, the fight turned around in the 6th, when Mayweather drilled Hernandez on the top of the head with a short left hook and his injured left hand. Mayweather recoiled in pain and he left hand grazed the canvas, as he came close to taking a knee. The referee ruled that Mayweather had touched the deck and gave Hernandez credit for scoring a knockdown.
Several rounds later, Mayweather injured his right hand and a fight that in the beginning seemed such an easy task quickly became a test in endurance. To protect his injured left mitt, Mayweather switched stances several times in an effort to protect his injured hands. Nevertheless, Mayweather still was able to control the action and do enough to win by a commanding margin over the challenger.
Scoring one-shot at a time to protect his hands and insure he managed to go the distance, Mayweather continued to outbox Hernandez in the, 8th, 9th, and the 10th rounds. Despite the injuries, Mayweather rapidly hammered Hernandez with an uppercut right cross combination and dominated on the inside. When he wasn't landing leather, Mayweather utilized his foot speed and quickness to stay out of range for the rest of the fight. Despite injured hands that would have kept most men from the ring, once again Mayweather displayed the type of talent that ranks him among the best fighters in the world.Comment

I actually agree with this thread, if he throws constant "slaps" O DLH won't have a chance to throw back.
