I asked a non-boxing fan if he was watching the fight tomorrow and he said who is fighting... I took it in stride and he told him... He said "De La Hoya is old... I wanna see someone like Tyson... Does he have a fight coming?"

All cant be fans,but even a blind idiot could see all the stands,posters,billboards,talk,and commercials on this. -
Pretty sad.....
I talked my boss into throwing a little get together for the fight because he is a casual boxing fan.......So we were inviting some other guys we work with and only like 1 out of 7 knew there was a fight on and he only knew who DLH was.

A good portion of the Thais at the guesthouse I stay at know who DLH is. I was suprised at that. They barely speak any English (and definetly no Spanish).
There was even an article about the fight in the ****kok Post.Comment

That is sad. There has been hype for this fight like I haven't seen in a while. You would think he could have at least know there was fight on. Then the Tyson comment was funny. I know a lot of my friends stopped watching boxing after Tyson was done.Comment
