[QUOTE=nelsoncm;2327444]I read from another forum that he didn't topple Honmo. The fight was stopped on cuts and the fight was competitive till the stoppage on a cut.

Nope just read a article -
Edwin Valero was extended beyond round two for only the third time in his 22-fight career as he successfully defended his WBA super-featherweight title with an eighth-round stoppage of Nobuhito Honmo at Tokyo's Ariake Colosseum.
The big-punching Venezuelan, 22-0 (22), moved closer to a projected clash with Manny Pacquiao when the referee stepped in to halt brave Honmo on his feet midway through the round. Honmo fell to 29-5-2 (5).Comment

we'll have to wait for weeks to get any footage of this fight. Nobuo nashiro also fought on the card and was apparently outclassed by alexander munoz, but i think he can bounce back, he's already won and lost a title even though he's only 9-1-0!Comment
