Edwin Valero is the real deal. He is not only a big puncher, but a natural jr. lightweight. He would be just too big for Pacquiao...

Valero would prolly KO Manny. Manny has no defense and an OK chin against non big hitters. I'm saying guys that don't have 1 punch KO power but can hurt you (Barrera, Morales, Marquez, Solis, Larios) He's been rocked at one point or another by all of these guys and none of them hit nearly as hard as Valero. Valero would prolly send Manny into Pacland. Manny is quick, so is Valero, Manny is southpaw, so is Valero, Manny hits hard, so does Valero, Manny has terrible defense, so does Valero. Who can you really give the advantages to in this one? Manny has more experience, yes, but the way he always gets hit in all his fights, it wouldn't mean anything once Valero lands 1 shot. This fight is too close to call but with Manny's weak defense, Valero's hunger, I can see him winning by stoppage.

That's pretty impressive for Valero winning 22 fights and all by KO. I have seen him fight a couple of times on youtube and he has tremendous power, but like what was said before he throws wide looping punches and seems very wild and raw. He would make any fight exciting with his power and I hope the United States someday allows him to fight here. I think once he faces the elite of the SFW division he will get exposed. Pac and him would be a wild fight, but I would take Pac because of his straighter punches and quick hands. A fight with Marquez and Joan Guzman wouldn't be good as well, they would totally outbox him.

According to Dougie from Max Valero's promoter already turned down a possible matchup with Pac thinking it was a bit too early for the V-Nom as he is called to tangle withPac-Man.

Anyways I read his next fight according to his promoter will be held in the states and my guess would be in some place that normally does not get a chance to see many world class fighters...someone is going to get a nice surprise!

Really that would be cool to have Valero fight in the states. Has he gotten cleared to fight in the United States?

I dont know-which is why we will probably see him fight in Kentucky or some wierd spot where they dont follow rules and regs.

kidding aside, its one of the 3 fights that i want to see for pac, the other two being pac-jmm2 & pac-guzman ...

Mosqueira was arguably one of the elite. Also, I really don't know what all the fuss is about Guzman. Barrios gave him a decent fight. He's a lazy fighter, IMO, and you can't get lazy against Valero. He's also a lot smaller than Edwin.

valero would get smoked based on the fact that,

a, that motorcycle accident lessened his ability to take a punch from a guy like pac

b, paciauo's power comes from the straight left, would would negate valero's looping punches

                    c, paciauo is more experienced

then you have the x factor.

d, paciauo is softer and less hungry than valero ,and thinks he's some kind of movie star, probably getting plump and not training as hard as he used to back then, so you never know.

lolz! I saw the fight... Valero's performance isnt good and no way he could beat Pac, even Larios can beat him.
