Precisely. If he "stinks" out the joint and wins a boring decision by playing a saftey first game it won't help make him into a PPV star. I'm not saying which way he should approach the fight, a win is a win, but what fans want in a PPV superstar is not defensive brilliance.
If he throws a lots of punches and goes on the offensive at times busting up Oscar, it will certainly gain him some new fans. No matter what happens he won't be a star over night, but it will be a huge leap forward.
I really hope he doesn't retire either way.
