          Lopez never fought at Flyweight (least not in the significant part of his career).

          Part of what makes the Marciano record significant is that he had no blimishes (no Draws, or NCs even). People were already talking down about Valuev's potential breaking of the record (before he lost) because he had a NC early on in his career.

          Still Lopez is a definently top 100 fighter all time and maybe even top 50.

              Marciano lost his first pro fight under a differant name, then used the name Rocky Marciano to compete as an amateur again. Ive read that in two differant books.

                  Rocky Marciano is undefeated as a professional. Not as an amateur. Fighting as a professional he did not lose.

                      There was a guy who used to post at the BoxRec forum that claimed he had proof that Marciano fought secret underground fights in Brazil after he retired.

                      dont believe it just because its in a book.
