Ricky hasn't been at his best of late, but hopefully he will back for the castillo fight. People said the same thing when Ricky faced Tszyu and look what happened there, with a long training session i'd see Ricky not haven't problems at Welterweight. Ricky always has a game plan for every fight its worked in most of his fights, I would say if the fight did ever come off, obviously Mosley would be the favourite but I wouldn't write Hatton off either. Hopefully the winner of the Mayweather v Hoya fight faces Hatton if he wins against Castillo, easier said than done. If Ricky turns up flat again vs Castillo, he will get beat or his reputation hammered like in his past 3 fights and will struggle to attract the big fights that he wants.

Let me interject this thought; If this fight were to happen and Mosley did win convincingly, would this help his legacy? Does Hatton on his resume, look impressive or just OK?

people say hatton hasnt looked good recently, imo he was never that good. i wasnt even impressed with the zoo fight. he had to cheat all the way to get the win, esp the low blow, you just cant recover from that.

i have no respect for this guy. i dont like his style and he has ducked top fighters including witter for years. if he ever tried his wrestling tactics with witter he would get brutally ko'd. you just cant come in like that against a top fighter. he knows it thats why he has been making execuses fighting maussa's and urango's for titles he knows that he will give up anyway.

let me say it again. mosley, mayweather, judah all are 140 guys but are stll able to fight and beat top fighters in the division. its not rare that fighters go against bigger and stronger guys, thats what real fighters do! thats something that hatton is not.
