Yeah I feel the same way. He is damn good, but he lacks in the technical area. His last fight with Ouma even though he won, he looked sloppy. I know he was going for a knockout, but he was backing up the whole fight and he was the bigger man. If his skills improved he could be that juggernaut, but If he hasn't learned yet I don't know if he will, especially with Emmanuel Steward as his trainer.

I think Taylor would KO him in the mid rounds.

What always bothered me, was he doesn't dispatch people like he should. There's no reason for a guy his size to flinch like a slimmer version of Jameel mcline whenever he gets on the inside and someone throws.

Case and point him being backed up by Wink, and put on ***** street against Nard in the final rounds of their first fight. That's just not supposed to happen when you have a big physical specimen like that fighting at middleweight.

He never was like that, as far as I can remember. I watched a few of his early fights and I dont remember him being this gun shy as he is now. I guess B-Hop really did a number on him, cuz it's been since their first fight that he's been like this, imo.

I say Sturm.. But Im also a big sturm fan, so theres some bias in there.. But I think its a close ifght that definetly goes the distance.. aslong as there isnt no hometown robbery, sturm has a good chance of winning.. we all saw him give oscar a boxing lesson.. I honestly think a fight with him and JT is close. Jt would throw more shots and Felix would have considerable higher connect rate.. He really picks his shots.. Blocks well similar to winky and lands clean shots after he blocks his opponents combo.. Some people judge too much intp bein stopped in castilejo fight. He was way ahead on the cards, and the stoppage was somewhat premature. its very apparent he is much better boxer than castillejo, he just got caught with a good shot.. I think being robbed vs de la hoya was really damaging to him aswell..

i hate taylor, but i don't see sturm beating him. taylor's natural athleticism will win him a sloppy UD against sturm, he won't even need the hometown decision in this fight

A late ko by Taylor is what I see happening.

Agreed with concensus, Taylor by boring UD. Taylor relies a lot on his jab and Sturm has a good one as well, so that might trouble Jermain a bit. Not enough for Sturm to win it though.
