The reason it's not selling becuase it really should not be on PPV, if we are getting fights like Williams/Margarito for free then what the hell is this fight on PPV for.

**** last year we had Taylor/Wright on free HBO, I just don't get how they come up with these PPV fights.

I'm still buying this fight so I can see someone getting KTFO!

This is a fight that I don't mind if people get illegally.. By all means, don't pay for this crap. We already know how its going to go down. Zabs going to hit and run, if he wants to win. Unless, Zab's dumb as **** and thinks he has the chin to take Cotto's punches. Then Zabs getting knocked the **** out.

I dont think you can compare Cotto to Trinidad just yet, but this is a fight that will definitly take him a step cloer to the legendary status that Trinidad achieved.

As far as it being PPV well I think it's a sure bet for fireworks. Cotto will force Judah to work and we know that both guys have the skill and power to hurt each other. No one really anticipated the exciting see saw battle between Taylor and Wright. A lot of people thought it was gonna be a stinker so HBO knew it was safer to show it for free.

Im going to see this fight, i'll bet it will draw 14 to 15 thousand. I could be wrong but regradless i'll be ballin in NYC!

Like my post stated, sales are actually going great. But anyways, although Id rather see this on HBO, I can see why its PPV. Cotto is one of the rising stars, and Zab is very popular. He deserves most of the credit for selling ppvs for his fight with Mayweather I think.

                Heres the proof-

                Monday, April 23 2007

There is only one way to describe the first week's sales for the Miguel Cotto vs. Zab Judah welterweight title fight -- X-Plosive! "We haven't had an arena fight sell this fast since Holyfield-Lewis in 1999," said Joel Fisher, MSG's Senior Vice President for Sports Properties. "Miguel Cotto has developed a tremendous following in New York, and Brooklyn's Zab Judah will have thousands of supporters. This should be a memorable night of boxing at The Garden." Cotto, the undefeated World Boxing Association champion and the pride of Puerto Rico, defends his title against two-division world champion Judah in the main event of "X-Plosive!" Promoted by Top Rank, in association with Prize Fight Boxing, "X-Plosive!" will be broadcast live, Saturday, June 9, on HBO Pay-Per-View, from the main arena at Madison Square Garden. Remaining tickets are $500, $300, $200, $100 and $50, available at the MSG Box Office, TicketMaster outlets, phone (866-448-7849) and www.ticketmaster.com / www.thegarden.com. This marks the third consecutive year Cotto (29-0, 24 KOs), of Caguas, Puerto Rico, has headlined at the 'Mecca of Boxing' on the eve of New York's annual National Puerto Rican Day Parade. Judah (34-4, 25 KOs) hails from from Brooklyn.

well sales have dramatically slowed since that first week.

And while i dont think the fight should be on PPV because the fighters arent big enough, the action itself should definetly be worth the cash.

Its gonna be a great fight
