INSTANT REPLAY > we need it in the sport !

seriously, any fightcard that has the luxury of using instant reply with the proper equipment, should start using it. for judging knockdowns, and maybe even close rounds.. also used for illegial blows in cases of point deductions, all things which can change the corse and outcome of a fight. it will help make this sport more fair. boxing is an amazing sport, lets help it grow. let it be known if u agree here!!!!!!

I agree with you on having instant replay for knockdowns and illegal blows for point deduction, but not for close rounds. A good example of maybe there needs to be instant replay in boxing is the Barrera/Marquez fight. When Barrera wasn't given a knockdown on a clean shot. Even though it didn't matter in the end in the scoring of the fight, there could be a situation where it does. If they just take a quick look in between rounds and determine if the call in question was wrong they could switch it.

i support it. sometimes to see if it was a knockdown or it was a slip, a foul, etc.... would be very useful.

how would you do it?.....for example to question a knockdown.....stop the fight right when it happens?....that would badly disrupt the pace of the fight by giving the fighters a rest, make the crowd unhappy w/the sudden stop in action, and would also mess up any momentum a fighter might have.....or maybe at the end of the fight?.....i don't think the crowd or boxers would like that either as the outcome might change (and even if it is too make sure the right call was made).......i could see drinks being thrown all over the ring if a fan favorite fighter ends up not winning because of that when he would have won.......i just don't like it....sometimes bad calls happen....it happends to every fighter.......that's how the sport is and always has been.....and shouldn't be changed......

i still don't like it.....if anything just make sure the refs are trained better.....yes that won't solve it either but you will have bad calls in every sport....always been like that and should be....it's a part of the sport.....everything can't be perfect.....i don't know....you can call me old school i guess.....i am in favor of bringing back 15 rounders for big fights.....boxers these days are gettin too soft.....
