If Diaz comes flailing away like that he'll get his head tore off....Freitas is a p4p puncher.

Not at lightweight. Freitas has not shown the same power at 135, and it's weird because some guys have problems with moving up just a few pounds and not carrying their power. Diaz has a much tighter defense than people give him credit for, I think we will find this fight to be a complete technical mismatch.

This is a close call either way.

Regardless of Freitas losing some of his pop with the move up to 135, he's STILL the hardest punching, fastest handed, most skilled fighter that Diaz has faced yet. None of you can deny that ****.

Diaz is there to be hit, even though his defense is improving. He's faced some rugged opponents, but nobody that will hit him with something that he won't see that will hurt him like Freitas can.

On the flip side, Freitas has slowed down a bit overall and has a tendency to fall asleep a bit later in fights. I think Diaz could out work him down the stretch if he can find a way to avoid Freitas' best punches.

I'm gonna go with Freitas in this one though.

Diaz has a good defense and frietas will have trouble connecting and the few time he connects will not do the job....diaz will pressure diaz and beat him for 12 rounds...eventhough diaz isn't a ko artist ..his punches must sting because all his opponents even ko artist like cotto's brother and suico...changed their strategy after a few rounds of getting hit....so i predict and easy 12 round decision for diaz....

Baby Bull will handle Popos' punches in bunches just like he handled Lakva Sims. He will stonewall him and wear him down, then BB will KO him inside the distance. What has Popo done lately. I have not heard much from him since the divorce. I know he is still active, but cant find it.

Diaz won as expected, Freitas was tailor made for him... I laugh when people say Freitas could have won if this or that happened...no Diaz would win 10 out of 10 times against Acelino, Freitas just cant handle a volume puncher who who is constantly pressuring you.
