I think Freitas beats Diaz (we'll find out soon), he can do more than Diaz can, can hit harder than Diaz, and has fought the better competition. Also, despite the fact that Diaz, a pressure fighter, will try to beat Freitas in a similar way as the only man to ever defeat him (that being by using pressure, and that fighter being Corrales) people seem to forget the simple fact that while he throws alot of punches, the Baby Bull doesn't hit that hard. This is going to be a pretty easy one for Popo. If he decides to box, he boxes circles around Diaz and wins a wide UD, he decides to **** and he gets him out of there before the fight reaches round six.

This is definitely a step up for Diaz. Frietas I also felt got away with a win against Raheem. Raheem can make a lot of people look bad though. This should be a good fight and the most competitive fight that HBO's BAD has maybe had this year. I feel Diaz will put a lot of pressure on Freitas and win in a close fight SD.

I predict a KO by 5th round. Unless Diaz sticks and moves, but he's never been a quick guy. His defense has improved though, but he's not fast enough to dodge the barrage of monstrous punches that will be coming at him. Should be fun though! Go PoPo!

I'm picking Diaz to use pressure and volume punching to win a decision.Freitas is past his prime and Diaz is in his and I think that and the volume of punches he throws will win him the fight.

at lower weights maybe, but he hasn't gotten a significant KO since barrios in 2003, and that was at a lower weight than at where he is fighting diaz.

I think it's more down to him changing his fighting style, he used to plant his feet and let the bombs go, his last few fights he's changed to this spazzy style not sure quite how to describe it, and it doesn't work for him.
