He didn't only land more, he won in rounds aswell. Thanks for turning around what I said and try to make it as though floyd deserved the win. You really are biased as **** when it comes to sucking floyd.

Done talking to biased people on this topic. Enjoy sucking floyd off, while you still can. May 5th is his demise.

Is that all you can come back with, after I make a valid point?

Seriously, is that the best you can do?

      "Enjoy sucking floyd off"

Sigh... welcome to my ignore list.

The punch stats are skewed, because the vast majority of rounds that Mayweather actually won, there wasn't a lot of punches being thrown at all (mostly because Mayweather wouldn't let him), especially during the first 5 rounds. Now the rounds that Castillo won, he had Mayweather pinched against the ropes and was unloading tons of punches.

What I'm basically trying to say is:

The rounds Floyd won, he landed maybe 10-15 punches.
The rounds that Castillo won, he landed maybe 30.

But the fact still remains, a round isn't worth more than any other round, despite the number of punches being landed / thrown.

If Castillo didn't completely throw away the first half of the fight, he should of won. But the fact remains, the dull, tactical, not much action first half counts just as much as the action packed second half of the fight. And people tend to forget that.
it was a lot more than just hbo that thought castillo won. I wouldnt call it a robbery though. it was a very close fight and mayweather won the rematch handily anyway,,,,so it really shouldnt be an issue anymore

I'll give Floyd much credit if he handles Oscars larger size and heavier punching power. Oscar may be older now, but he is still world class elite. That means he's dangerous to any boxer.

Exactly. Its amazing that some people can't grasp this concept, yet call themselves boxing fans.

Except in the very unlikely case that he makes Oscar quit, he won't get much credit. Which is ironic since so many are so sure that Oscar takes him out. He'd have to beat absolutely everyone and keep beating everyone for some time to get respect. But really he's brought on a lot of that, with his persona. You contrast that to Cotto, who really hasn't done much yet, yet Cotto's persona makes him well liked.

Floyd really needs some help in terms of repositioning his image. Yeah he can hype a fight by making himself hated, but what kind of legacy is that?

I feel, if the rematch between Floyd and Castillo never happened, then many should say that it could've gone either way, whether or not Floyd beat him with one hand or arm injured.

Floyd, in convincing, and unquestionable fashion beat Castillo fair and square by UD in the rematch.

                By Unanimous Decision.

Not decision. Not split decision. Not a draw. Not a disqualification.

To me, that's enough evidence of who the was the best at that weight.
