    Just watched Dawson VS Adamek,

Dawson is clearly a serious fighter man, he very very quick,

If he can work on his defense on the inside he gonna be so dangerous,

No way Calzaghe easily beats this guy, he just as quick and more powerful.

I wonder what everyone thinks of Dawson, i was seriously impressed.

I don't know who would win this one. Dawson's the one guy at 168-175 I don't see Calzaghe slapping completely silly.

I bumped this so that we can have a proper discussion about it.

Apparently Showtime wanted to do the Calzaghe Kessler fight, but they wanted Chad Dawson to come down to 168 and fight calzaghe before Calzaghe fought Kessler, In the end HBO got the fight.

I think Calzaghe should move up to 175 and fight dawson after he most likely beats Kessler, that would be a super fight, i think the two are quite similar in ways.

        Thoughts?

Btw, i meant super fight as in it would be super to watch, not superfight as in mayweather de la hoya lol.

Calzaghe would give Dawson the same boxing lesson he gave to Lacy. Dawson is overhyped and overrated, or else he wouldn't have chosen such a poor opponent (Jesus Ruiz) when defending his title last month.

Dawson will be exposed when he fights Diaconu this fall.

I'm surprised at the amount of people overrating this guy, OK he's only 25 and has potential to be a top p4p fighter, but talk of him comfortably beating Calzaghe and going up to HW and winning a title is amazing. How many times has he been knocked on his ass by average fighters?

I didnt think Dawson was overrated at all, but yeah lets see what happens in his next fight, he looks very talented, slick, powerful and a southpaw, no way would calzaghe destroy him like lacy, Dawson fights nothing like Lacy lmao.

Why is everyone calzaghe fights is gonna get beaten 'like lacy'?

              lol.

dawson is NOT overrated he is a good fighter who will be champ down the road. i think right now calzaghe is too experienced for him, but it would make for an interesting fight. it would not be a repeat of calzaghe-lacy, cuz lacy is a bum, and dawson is a well-rounded fighter. i would love to see that fight, at 168 or 175

Don't confuse Dawson with Lacy. He is a much better boxer than Lacy and is not an open target. Calzagae would have his hands full. And I'd favor Dawson to win this fight if it happens down the road. He'll be in his prime and Calzagae would be a little bit older. I don't know if Calzagae would destroy Dawson I haven't seen Calzagae fight any of the top fighters yet. And Dawson has only beaten Adamek so I 'm not sure who would win as of today.

Agreed, at 175 im going with Dawson, at 168, would be pickem fight for me, the jury is still out on chad, but he impressed me alot in that adamek fight, you have to remember he will most likely get better, which is pretty scary, and he's got mayweather SR in his corner.
