He deserves to have mad losses, but what pisses me off more is that people actually wanted to fight this guy? Like, why in the hell would anyone want to fight this guy who has gotten so many ridiculous decisions that he should have lost... Don't fighters ever learn...

It was disgusting when he fought robin reid. Robin Reid fights dirty in some of his fights, but this is the first time Robin Reid fought like the cleanest fighter I've ever seen any boxer fight. And Sven the ***** kept complaining to the ref that reid was giving him illegal shots??? It's funny he was complaining to the ref when reid was throwing to sven's body... ****ing ridiculous as hell, and that ref who ever that ref is, looked like a complete and utter *******. Not once let them box, because when they did start to box, reid was beating the **** out of sven, and then the ref stops it... Garbage fight, and anyone who lives in Germany and thinks this fighter is good has problems. And that one user on here is such an idiot, he actually compares calzaghe to ottke. Theres no comparsion at all, atleast when joe wins his fight (even if they are at his home town) he normally destroys the competition. This guy Ottke, gets his ass kicked in his fights and still wins... How ridiculous

Ottke had some very dubious decissions go his way and there's for sure been other instances in Germany. However not being german, i'm getting sick and tired of listening to brits and americans sitting on high horses in collective whining about how terrible judging has been in Germany.

It happens everywhere. It happens in your own countries as well - it's just much harder to see with your vision clouded in bias. Germany to an extend deserves a bad rep. But so does any other country where certain promotors hold a lot of influence reaching far into the sanctioning bodies.
It cetainly happens in my own country. Don't fool yourself into believing it's not going on all the time in both the US and the UK.
As for Ottke - the poor decissions rightfully leave his entire career bleamished. But I'm getting sick of certain ppl routinely discrediting his abilities way more than he deserves. He was boring as hell - no question. But the man had very real and also very deceptive skills. Noone came out of an Ottke fight looking good - largely due to Ottkes illussive abilities. To say today the he was complete crap simply show a lack of understanding of his skills.
You don't have to like his style (i don't), but to some extend his skills still deserve respect, that he's not given by ppl jumping a bandwaggon where it's perfectly "legal" to downplay Ottke's abilities ridiculously (often by ppl who've seen very little of him), or to just generally hate on germany as a whole - i mean get over it, the war was 60+ years ago.

Ottke sucks, only fight you can give him credit on is mundine and thats about it. But he was getting his ass kicked the whole fight from what I've heard, and landed a lucky shot. People say lucky shots don't exist in boxing but thats bullcrap, Ottke is a stinker. Has Ottke ever wanted to fight Calzaghe? I bet you Calzaghe blew him off and not because ottke can land some tricky shots like he did to mundine but because Ottke has connections with all the judges and refs in his fights.

And you guys should really watch that robin reid fight, and you'd see why that ottke guy sucks ass. He was crying to the ref about body punches??? Wtf... And the ref kept threatening Reid about it. It's like wtf? No, not all places are like that in boxing. I've never seen a worse decision in any boxing fight compared to that decision. Reid won that fight, and he even won it by listening to these ridiculous rules they had for that fight
