Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.........................you have quite a bit of points. I would ask you to bet me on this fight, but I plan on betting all my points on Oscar De La Hoya versus Floyd Mayweather. Since Margarito-Williams is going to happen at a later date than the aforementioned De La Hoya-Mayweather fight, and since Oscar's not exactly a "sure thing" against Floyd, I can't expect you to place a bet with me based on the hope that Oscar will win.

However, if Oscar should defeat Floyd, I'll have points to bet.

I see you bought into Arum's hype. Mayweather has never shown that he fears Margarito. He chose to fight better, more accomplished fighters than Margarito such as Judah, Baldomir, and now DLH...

Margarito is beyond opinion in real terms. Bottom line is that he is THE #1 contender to the true World champ at 47 PBF. No one in the division has faced or beaten more legitimate top ten contenders since 2002. Antonio Diaz, Danny Perez, Andrew Lewis, Sabastian Lujan, Kermit Cintron, Joshua Clottey...that's six legit top ten guys (top ten when he fought them). Some were marginal, others less so. Whether one thinks he is the best or overrated based on aesthetics is one thing; but if fans are to decry mandatory systems and bad ratings, than objevtivity must rule. Six wins against legit contenders makes Tony the most deserving (even if he's not the best fighter to some).

Unless Shane fights at 147, he's the 2nd best to Floyd any way you slice it. So you can just keep hating on him, nobody will change their mind until someone proves otherwise.
