It worked for Hopkins...It's simple and not ****ing rocket science.
How many times does he have to say: "He really got under my skin and all that does is motivate me and make me want to work harder".
If you're a fighter, and you're fighting Oscar.......just hush up. You have a much better chance if you don't piss him off.
Anyways he'll beat Floyd and then people will hush up.Comment

When will you learn that he ****ed with the wrong brotha?. Floyd is the best in the sport. Oscar's soft speaking ass will get outboxed all night by Floyd. I don't care how hard he trains. When Floyd beats him you will say he should have retired and other bull**** to not give Floyd his credit. It's simple and not ****ing rocket science.

I think the only time he wasn't in shape was the Sturm fight. And that was probably some misconceived plan to come in heavy since it was his first fight at middleweight.Comment

Floyd lost the first castillo fight. I don't care if the judges were rigged to give it to floyd. Every single Announcer including george foreman scored that fight big time for Castillo, I think the announcers had castillo ahead like 3-4 rounds or something. Floyd fought like **** that night. They robbed castillo, and castillo must have bitched about the robbery since he got a rematch with floyd. And floyd kicked his ass in the rematch, but it doesn't change the fact he should have a loss on his record. And Castillo showed that floyd isn't invincible or unbeatable, he's only unbeatable when the judges are rigged to give him the fightLook at what CAstillo had to say about the two fights!
LOST WBC L WORLD TITLE - on 4-20-02 in Las Vegas he lost a 12 round unanimous decision against WBC super featherweight champion Floyd Mayweather (27-0): it was a good, close fight, and a controversial decision; Jose pressed forward and outworked Mayweather for much of the fight; Jose's nose was bloodied in the 1 st round - he was also cut over the left eye by a clash of heads in the 2 nd and penalized one point in the 8 th round for punching after the break; Mayweather was penalized one point in the 10 th round for using his elbows; most observers thought Jose deserved to win, but the judges scored 116-111, 115-111, 115-111; after the fight, Jose said, His style is very complicated, and the first three rounds were very difficult for me. I thought I won the fight but unfortunately, the judges didn't agree with me. I thought they favored him. The judges should be impartial. This time they didn't call the right decision. He felt my punches and this is why, a lot of times, he stood there and tried to trade with me, but I was punching too hard. At one time, he hit me with a left hook and I felt it a little bit, but I hurt him a lot more. I told you, this year was a year of surprises. You remember Shane Mosley lost, Bojado lost, and tonight, you know that Mayweather lost.
Those scores say it all total BS!
here's what he says about the 2nd fight
2002 WBC L WORLD TITLE CHALLENGE - on 12-7-02 in Las Vegas he lost a 12 round unanimous decision in the rematch against defending champion Floyd Mayweather (28-0): Mayweather frustrated Jose with movement - he fought cautiously for much of the time and the fans booed the lack of action - but also consistently scored with the more accurate punches; Jose's nose was bloodied and his face was bruised, but he rallied in the middle rounds and outworked Mayweather in a few rounds; scored 116-113, 115-113, 115-113; after the fight, Jose said, I could never figure him out, and his style got me out of what I wanted to do. I thought Floyd fought a much more intelligent fight this time. I'm OK with my effort. I did the best I could. He was just better this time around.
I agree with Castillo's accounts of both fights. Floyd is not unbeatable especially at 154 against DLH.Comment
