Mate, forget Butterbean, Im talking Prime tyson, and some of the other dangerous punchers in boxing, they would have more than no chance, otherwise bob sapp wouldn't be givng established MMA guys serious problems and Knocking some of them Out.

I used to watch K1 quite a bit, i liked it, Remi Bonajsky is exciting fighter,

put these guys in a boxing ring with a poorly skilled boxer, and you would have UFC guys dying in the ring.

    lol

Remeber when he kicked Ray Mercer in the head and Ray quit right then and there? It's true boxers are not used to gettig kicked in the head and **** but I still think Boxing is a much more skilled sport.

Technical_Skill, did you read my reply about stamina? Did it answer your question?

Yea I'd definately have a problem gettin kicked in the head....But also I would be able to see a round house coming for miles...

any boxer with decent head movement would be able to.

Its kinda sad how the MMA fighters think differently. I'd hate to see one of these fights take place .

lmao actually i'd love to see Mayweather / jones / or pACman bust one of these dudes up.

VIC DARCHINYAN would do it lol.. He'd take a MMA fight in a second.

Ok, here goes. At our gym we have a pro MMA guy who is a Black Belt in BJJ. That means he is probably in the top 1% of grapplers. He can literally do BJJ for hours at a time with guys at the gym and not even break a good sweat (he does have to break for a minute or so here and there for water), but he never gets tired. It's crazy to see this. But his standup is not very good. When he boxes, and even with the smaller guys, he usually can't go 3 full rounds even with the 1 minute break between the rounds.
Also some of the boxers at the gym will decide to do some BJJ just for fun. These guys spar for usually 4-6 rounds at a time(still young in their careers). Usually once you get on top of them and put your weight into their chest they tap out in under 1 minute or so and say 'man, I could not breathe, that ******.'

To be honest I'm one of the guys who lasts alot longer on the ground than standup. I hope this helped, but as crazy as it sounds, there really is a stamina difference.
Yep, was a nothing answer, just because different athletes have different stamina LEVELS depending on the training

Doesnt mean there are different types of Stamina,

Means they have more Stamina at some activities than others.

              see ya.

Sorry you think its a 'nothing' answer. Like I said, the best way is to try it yourself. So you know, I actually do MMA (BJJ, boxing, Muay Thai) and I have respect for all of the fighters in those arts. It's easy to disrespect and misunderstand something you have never tried.
