Hey DA1, I asked this earlier. I'm not being an ass, I'm just real curious to know if you feel a little different since sparring an MMA guy:

Be honest ok. You won, but do you have more respect for MMA guys as athletes than you did before? Like do you actually see that what they do requires training and skill? Or do you think they are just unskilled brawlers? I'm curious.

If this fight happens it will be 1 of the biggest if not the biggest ever for ufc and boxing.

Naiujiro, you sure spew a considerable amount of ****, especially considering your avatar shows you curled up in a fetal position... sucking your thumb.

People might, and I stress the word might, just receive you slightly better if you dispensed with the ad hominid attacks. You come off as an immature keyboard warrior, which I am sure is not your intent. After all, your magnificent fighting exploits are well documented, and your real world experience is unparalleled amongst the contributors to this thread.

Hey wassup.. Yea I answered that..

I said that they are not unskilled brawlers. Thats How they are seen because of the intensity and variety of ways the fight can happen and end up. It takes lots of training to get their legs the way they are. and lots of toughness to take the punishment.. because when he kicked me in my leg I was seriously hurt.. I was able to stand.. BUt I honestly could have teared up if I didnt expect it.. **** hurt l;ike hell... after like the 6 or 7 times he kicked me I was forming my every move around not getting kicked.

thats where footwork and pivoting came in.(read the fight I wrote about)

He wasn't abl;e to deal with that so easily.. it opened up my hook and right alot more than stepping in.

I have alot of Respect for the amount of punishment they take and the training it takes to Give that level of punishment out for 5 mins straight which is crazy.

I respect them but from my own experience I feel that punchers in any punching sport have the upper hand.

But also I'm not gonna say that I was gonna beat him no matter what. the time he almost slammed me could have changed the whole fight, lucky I was able to sidestepped and spin him a lil bit to get away. That coulda changed the outcome easily.

Power punchers would do well in mma but smooth boxers like mayweather wouldnt do well because they would get taken down.

My bad. Hey, if you ever decide to box as pro, I wish ya luck.

And Ben is correct. Its the one-punch KO guys who have a better shot at winning an MMA fight. Because if throw long combos you will likely be taken down. You just can't stay still that long in one spot.

True. My dad used to wrestle in high school and was pretty good. He won state a few times i think.. and i will play around and hit him a few times just joking and as long as i keep throwing one punch and then moving i can keep away. But the second i plant my feet for a combonation i am down on the ground with my leg behind my head and my wrist touching my elbow....lol......

Haha, fair enough. I do spew a lot of **** at folks these days. I'm learning to pipe down though.

You want my background? My grandpa was a professional boxer and boxing instructor for the SFPD, and my father was a professional boxer as well until he married at 28 years old. I've been training in boxing ever since I was 6 years old. I then trained in Japanese Juijitsu and Juijutsu at 10 years old, and then BJJ at 13 years old. At 15 years old I trained in basic wrestling takedowns, and at 17 years old till now I trained in kickboxing and MT clenches with a emphasis in clench takedowns.

That's why I have a short temper when I plus 1bad65, EolGul, etc have to explain over and over again the problems with certain theories about footwork. I hope you can see why that is somewhat frustrating, dealing with PeterPan theories that are supported on very vague conjecture.

Best quote all day long. It summarizes all the previous intelligent posts on this thread. Props.
