Miranda Sounds Off On Taylor, Pavlik

Whatever you think about Taylor's chin, the man has never been down in his pro or amateur career, he has beaten Pavlik and Jeff Lacy in the amateurs!

He hasn't fought anyone with power to knock him out. Miranda has the power to knock him on his ass. What fighter has taylor fought that can move fast like Miranda and have alot of power behind his punches? No one I can think of. Hopkins and Winky are great fighters, but they're not known for their power. They're known for tiring their opponents out then koing them. And beaten anyone in the amatuers doesn't prove ****, he hasn't fought Lacy or Pavlik in their professional careers. Fighters get better once they turn pro.

Miranda is pretty damn funny. However, he better not overlook Pavlik, he's like nearly 6"3 and hits pretty damn hard. This should be a real slugfest, and I honestly don't know which way its going to go. I guess I'd give Miranda about 60/40 odds to win, but I think it could go either way.

is say 55/45, im going to bet on pavlik myself, with the odds id say its the smrt money play..

i keep seeing people saying that pavlik has never faced a puncher like miranda.. which very well may be true, but miranda certainly has never faced a puncher like pavlik.. neither in power or precision.

miranda isnt going to walk through pavlik in one round like he is willie gibbs, that kinda thinking is way beyond foolish... and chances are he is not going to "box" his way to winning any rounds... in that regard i see this matchup as being similar to klitschko-peter with the analysis and opinions being thrown around..

miranda has shown that is chin is nothing special.. i cant say its "bad" but average seem fair... if pavlik hits miranda hard he is gonna go down... zertuche, thought a limited fighter, had a much better chin than edison miranda does IMO and pavli knocked him silly eventually

its crazy to think this fight goes the distance, so its gonna come down to get who gets home first... my money is on the the more precise straighter punching Pavlik by KO in the 6th round

Don't forget Pavlik's jumped when zertuche hit him if Miranda hits him he will be out cold.Miranda's chin is way better than zertuche's.But really both are **** Taylor would beat them both.

The last real middleweight Taylor was in with was Hopkins and he's not known for being a hard hitter but still put Taylor on ***** street. Taylor's promoter is trying to get him in fights that Taylor can't be hurt in. Winky Wright, the guy never loads up on a single punch. Ouma a super welterweight hit Taylor plenty of times but he's doesn't have power. Ouma tries to overwelm you by throwing 100+ punches a round but Taylor was smart he tied him up. But couldn't knock the smaller man out. Now again Taylor is in with a guy from a lower weightclass. But he'll get his turn, Miranda or Pavlik would KO Taylor.

Taylor is just asking to get KO'd the way he keeps his left hand at his knees if he does that with Miranda or Pavlik...it's lights out. That's just asking for a right hand to KO him.

Also I think Miranda is going to KO Pavlik. Pavlik has been protected his whole career by being put in with bums. Theres going to be an obvious class difference when they fight. Zertuche tagged Pavlik with big right hands in the early rounds and he buzzed him. Now if that was Miranda he won't be buzzed, he'd wake up in the hospital.

Exactly what I have been preaching for the last few months.
Although I do disagree with you lol. You mentioned that Pavlik has been only fighting bums (which is as true as saying Mike Tyson is crazy) but then you go on to say that he will KO Jermaine Taylor?
Pavlik couldn't KO taylor if Jermaine was already laid in his bed snoring. I have absolutely no respect for garbage Pavlik. He has been protected by the secret service and should not be considered a caliber fighter. Given the sorry ass competition he has faced for 30 fights
