Stokesy, quite simply Kessler is a jab-first fighter and Joe doesn't get hit with jabs.

Kessler relies so heavily on the jab, but because of Joe's fast hands, fast movement and the movement he uses (shifting or spinning) he's never got hit with jabs. It's only the lead right hand that he's ever been vulnerable to due to being so square-on from the southpaw stance.

So yeah I really think Calzaghe can do a job on Kessler and it'll be considered a waste of time when he could have fought some top American guy.

I don't think froch deserves a shot at all. He's being hyped as a challenger simply because he's the only other half decent super-midleweight in britain. His biggest wins so far are over magee and dodson, which hardly merits a fight with calzaghe. If froch thinks inkin is such a waste of space, then he and hennesey should make the fight happen. I saw Inkin stop mario veit last year and was impressed with what i saw, he's certainly not the "nobody" that he is being made out to be. If froch can beat him or someone such as tsypko, mundine or bute, then he deserves a chance.

Froch is in the top two or three in the WBO, WBC and WBA ratings, on merit.

He's clinically taken out Brian Magee and Sergey Tatevosyan, far more impressively than Robin Reid and Lucian Bute did. He's taken out Henry Porras far more impressively than Mikkel Kessler did.

Well Paul, I think that Joe would have the edge, and I would favor him going into that fight. Not a substantial favorite, though. Kessler has great conditioning, a good chin, and great handspeed. One things for sure: Joe's never fought a guy like Kessler. A guy as well rounded as Kessler. It would definitely be more of a test for Calzaghe.

Lately, my respect for Calzaghe has been dwindling. Now this, this is just ridiculous.

Juy- Guess what? Kessler's best punch is the straight right hand, behind a jab. The classic one-two. This will provide loads of trouble for Joe.

EliteSoldier- You are a sad Alt.

He was the best heavyweight (The weight division where the biggest money can be made if there are any quality fighters around) in the world who had other great fighters like tyson and holyfeild to have massive massive ppv fights with. The comparison is ****** my freind.
Deary me, i got sick of repeating myself, and had to support Australia in the Cricket (They won....again! lol)

Alas, all good things come to an and and im forced to repeat myself multiple times.

                      Sigh, Here goes.

                      1) I said LEGACY and bank account, more selective quoting by you, deliberatley quoting me out of context. lol.

                      2) I never said JC could make more money than Lennox lewis, i said if he wants to make lots of money like Lewis did, he should fight in the USA.

                      3) In america, (this place, just 7,000 miles east of Britian, lots of big buildings, hamburgers, and women with big ****) they have the best boxers in the world, nearly all the best fighters in the world from all nations fight in this place, mainly because of the money.

                      4) One of the reasons America is so important, is because it has a huge fight-fan base, the best and biggest promoters, Networks that can afford to pay fighters large sums of money that networks in other counries cannot.

                      5) Joe calzaghe himself says he wants to be a big name in America, this is understandable, he will make more money then he does, he may even get on PPV, instead of being free to air on HBO lol.

                      6) If Joe really wants to be a legend, why does he have a problem fighting in the US? Jermaine Taylor does not need Joe Calzaghe, there are plenty big fights out there for Taylor (Roy Jones, Miranda etc) and he already has had bigger and better fight than Joe Calzaghe.

                      7) This is why Joe and Frank are begging to Jermaine to fight, not the other way around.

                      8) Calzaghe took the fight with Manfredo to be popular in the US market, that failed, he is not popular with American fans, therefore the only way he can gain the respect he wants from the americans, and the money he wants, is to fight in America,

                      9) I use Lennox and Hatton as examples because they had the brain to realise America is the place where the big fights happen (in general) and where the most money is made.

                      10) Taylor aint coming over to the UK, he dont need Calzaghe, why doesn't Joe take a risk and go to the US, instead of having to fight, DENNIS IKIN, or do you want him to fight another bum, instead of a world class fighter?
