[QUOTE=Technical_Skill;2289637]Cant really argue with most of what you said.
Other than JC vs Lacy was not PPV, it was on HBO free to view.

yes it was on showtime free before HBO signed Joe but where the fight happens will have no bearing on whether the fight is ppv or not its whether HBO think it will sell.

It does, the time difference means not as many people would see it in the US.
9pm a night over here, is 3pm in the afternoon over there.

lol
No because the fight would be live and would be at 2 or 3 am UK time as the lacy fight was meaning it goes out at a time suitable for the US tv scheduling?

Right now, now i get you,
but they wont do that if the PPV fight happens in the UK, reason being cos not as many people would watch it over here. To be honest it depends who get the leverage over the rights, because this can work both ways.
The Lacy fight was free, if it was PPV, doubt they would have done the scheduling like that.
I think if the fight does PPV, it does in US time, i cant see Taylor wanting to fight at 2am in the morning either.

But your point is perfectly valid.
The fight would be on ITV here and HBO in the US as they own the rights to calzaghes fights. Fighting at 2AM would have no effect on Taylor as his body clock wouldn't be affected as he would just carry on living in US time and it would be Calzaghe who would need to adapt and the Lacy fight was scheduled at a US time so i don't see your point?

It would if taylor came to the UK the night before the fight, or anytime before the fight.
Have you ever been on a flight from the US to UK?
I have, it was about 10 am in the afternoon when i was in New York, and then about 11pm at night when i got to London.
So yes, there is a difference, unless Taylor flies in on the nght of the fight and goes straight to the fight,
Which he cant do as he would have to turn up in the UK to do Promotions etc.

Get my point now?
Yes but as with when lacy came here Taylor would still live in american time a come here at an earlier date just coz he's in this country doesn't mean he has to slepp when we d. He can stay living in american time as calzaghe would do to adjust to the late fight time
