I think Hopkins was in his prime when he fought taylor 1st time, but thats up for discussion.

    Who has the better resume?

Taylor : Winky Wright, Hopkins, Ouma, Spinks.

Calzaghe : Lacy, Reid, Eubank (was he in his prime? or did he take the fight at short notice? lol)

Yes Calzaghe is World Class, but he needs to go abroad.

Certainly Kessler, execpt is doubt he is really World class, i need to see him in a full fight before i decide.

Hopkins dont need to go abroad cos he fights in the mecca of Boxing, the USA. (im British and i can admit that)

Taylor's resume over his last 4 fights is better than anyonelse in Pro Boxing.

Ok thats definately a bit of a debatable statement and one i would definately disagree with. What makes the US the mecca of boxing? Surely the placxe for a figh to happen is wherever it would be the biggest draw and i would say Joe draws bigger crowds here than Taylor does there. The fight would be at a time suitable for HBO so it makes no difference to them?

Hahahaha Taylor is playing Warren and Joe C's game just to bait them.
            I love it.

Taylors playing the game because he knows he's not ready which is the right move for his career at the mo. After his last fight in which he didnt look to impressive his ppl admited he wasn't ready. Calzaghe needs a big fight but the only ones really available are Kessler B Hop and Taylor and kessler isn't even a name in the US.

Nope, the fight makes more money in America, probably due to the fact it would most likely be on PPV live, remember US has a 6 hour difference to us, so if it happened in UK, they couldnt show it primetime in the US live.

Come on man, we know what makes the US the Mecca of Boxing, more money, better promoters, better fighters.

Name any fighter with 4 tougher fights than Taylor's last four.

if the fight happens in the UK it will be live in the US and start at around 2 or 3 am UK time as the Lacy fight did. Hopkins was old and needed a new challenge, Wrights a great fighter but Ouma is not. The US is a great place for boxing but that does not mean that all big fights should happen there i agree Calzaghe should fight outside the UK but also think fights should happen outside the US look at Ali 2 of his greatest fighest happened over seas.

Cant really argue with most of what you said.

Other than JC vs Lacy was not PPV, it was on HBO free to view.

I think if they do the fight in the US, it will be more likely to be on PPV, and Calzaghe will make more money than he has before.
