Taylor fought an old Hopkins twice and actually lost the second fight if the judges were'nt blind. Fought Winky and walked away with a draw once again with most of the boxing public agreeing that Taylor lost. For a Middleweight Champion that is supposed to be so awesome he sure is protected. Taylor's handlers know better than us just how good he is and that's a big reason he'll not fight Calzaghe or anyone else decent anytime soon. I don't blame them because it's all about the money and as long as suckers will pay big money to see Taylor ( and alot of other so called great fighters) fight out of their prime named fighters or fight smaller guys with little risk than it will continue to happen. A perfect example of this is Valuev who was trying to break Marcianno's record by fighters fellow tomato cans. That's why boxing is not as popular today as it was even in the 70's or 80's. Do you think Taylor would have fought Marvin Hagler, Tommy Hearns or even John the Beast Mugabi and win? I don't think so.

Last time I checked Hopkins was ranked P4P #1 when he lost to Taylor and Winky was P4P #2 or #3 when he fought Taylor, who has Joe Calzaghe ever fought that ranked in the top 10 P4P!

Once again why should Taylor move to an unpopular division and fight for a meaningless wbo belt in UK for a the little money he was offered. So Warren best offer to Taylor was 3.8 mil, he never offered Taylor any more money.

It will take 10 mil for Taylor to move up in weight fighting in UK for the meaningless wbo belt against biased crowd, biased ref and biased judges. Taylor knows very well if he does not KO Calzaghe then he will lose no matter what he does!

BTW didn't Clazaghe said that the Manfredo will be his last fight in UK, he will be looking for big fights in US, he's not planning to come to US it was all bunch of BS, he can go fight Alfonzo Gomez from the Contender and I'm pretty sure there will be another 35,000 ******ed British fans will buy a ticket for that fight.

But when JT is asking for 10million he is basically saying "Please, Joe stop asking me to fight you! I dont want nothing to do with you so im going to ask for money i know im not going to get"
I would give JT more respect if he was just honest! JT is not a brilliant sportsman like Tiger Woods or Michael Jordan to be asking those kind of figures.

No it is not possible, because no one knows who Calzaghe is, I'm pretty sure Taylor will accept 50/50 with Calzaghe coming to fight him in US.

50/50 in the states will earn both around 4 or 5 mil, if Taylor goes to UK then he deserves to get 60/40 because he's moving up in weight, he's leaving a more respected division and will be fighting against a biased ref, biased fans, and biased judges, unlike Vegas!

Personally, I think Calzage has a few fights in his own weight that could cause more interest. Mundine would be a good match with the UK, Australia and Oceania Fans and Critics. It could also be a good way for Mundine to see how good he is.

There are many other fights for Joe without having to search other divisions.

Taylor, has fights to come where he is too.

Someoine wrote about the Supermiddle being a dead division but to many folk it was only a few years back when the middelweights were also a dead divsion with very few exceptions. Who knows, the division may grow with added publicity.

I do and dont like HOLLYWOOD match ups. And if Calzage was to fight Taylor then that would be HOLLYWOOD matching.

In all honesty, I am not interested in them fighting.

Of course Joe is well known over there now. People just say he aint well known to justify JT getting paid as much as Joe. It is JTs face that you wouldnt recognise in the street if you walked past him.
