Andrew Golota Comeback

I think it's disgusting in a whole that Golota is frowned upon by most of the Boxing community. Golota was screwed on the cards, no question, against John Ruiz, he clearly beat Chris Byrd, could have beat Bowe two times, and then he is regarded a "terrible fighter" and a "disgrace".

It makes me laugh, that just because a fighter was screwed numerous times throughout his career, when he should have been a champion, he is now regarded as a nothing. What is some of the fighters would have lost decisons, or some close fights have gone the other way? Would they also be considered a mediocre fighter? I don't think so.

but he hasnt screwed himself and us boxing fans either? I thought he eked out the byrd fight. the ruiz fight could have gone either way but he didnt deserve it in my opinion becuase he did nothing the last half of the fight. all he would have had to do is jab and he'd have easily beaten ruiz. he got up totally clear eyed against both grant and tyson and just flat out quit. the sad thing is he likely would have beat tyson had he fought on,,,tyson likely would have gassed. the real axe in the head was when he came in at a career high weight against brewster went in the ring without even breaking a sweat. ridiculous for a professional boxer in a big fight ( he did the same in the lewis fight). As a boxing fan I feel he;s totally cheated himself and us. he's a joke and really should have been at least suspended for quitting in 2 fights

I guess this is the Andrew Golota legal expenses tour. I don't really care to seem him fight again. I havn't been impressed with him at all from the Tyson fight on, all through his comeback. He has no jab anymore which was what his whole game worked off of and he he seems so uncordinated and slow compared to what he used to be.

Come to think of it what happened to his latest arrest - last year - impersonating an officer (again!) and kidnapping and sexually abusing two girls?

No question the guy is spacey - and also there has been a lot of crooked monkey business in his fights that we don't know all about.
