After that devastation against mijares, this possible great fight has lost some luster. Maybe those wars that jorge took corageously has finally taken it's toll on him or mijares simply has his number. It was a one sided beating such that mijares-darchiryan becomes more salivating than arce-darch..

      Darchinyan rips Arce!

      Tuesday, April 17 2007

"I knew he was a fraud from day one which is why I wanted to be the one to beat him, to expose him to the world as a farce of a fighter.....he's a fraud and a complete disappointment to the Mexican boxing fans," says an embittered IBF flyweight champion Vic Darchinyan (28-0, 22 KOs) in regard to Jorge Arce's lopsided unanimous decision loss to WBC super flyweight champion Cristian Mijares. The unbeaten Darchinyan had hoped to land a big money showdown against the popular Arce, who has also gained fame from starring on a reality TV series in Mexico. Meanwhile, Darchinyan's promoter Gary Shaw lashed out at Arce's promotional company Top Rank. "Bob [Arum] claims Vic can't put asses in one hundred seats. That may be true, but I guarantee you that Vic can win more rounds against any opponent "Farce" has ever lost to. And by the way, Vic has lost to no one."

They both looked like they wanted to fight in the interview on sunday, I think it might happen if Arce can think of another way to fight Mijares, Otherwise I dont know what else is next for him.
