i think its still a feasible fight. uve still got the element of uncertainty with vic going up a weight class. im bettin most americans will still pick arce to win.

i dont pay that much attention to these weight classes, but wasnt arce just a little too small for vic to begin with?

i know vic's people like him to fight small fighters, but maybe gettin vics blood thirsty people off of arce's nuts, and gettin vic focused on movin up for some legitimate fights, might be the best thing...

Arce is a true warrior, cant take that away from him, but I have no idea what happened to him and his gameplan tonite vs. Mijares. Had he stepped in the ring like that against VIC Darchinyan, he may have left the way poor Burgos did.

Do you still wanna see Arce vs. Darchinyan??
it is in the works for a possible September date...
I still want to see it because Darchinyan fights no where near the way Mijares fought last night.

The Arce that was in the ring last night would still give Darchinyan a war. Mijares' style was just better than Arce and I think he would beat Darchinyan in the same fashion. He took advantage of Arce defensive holes and he would do the same to Darchinyan's defensive holes.

Arce/Darchinyan would be a war no matter what because both are extremely wide open and are offensive machines when given the chance.

If Mijares and Vic fought, it would be the carbon copy of the Arce fight. Mijares would systematically take him apart.

Its my honest opinion of how the fight would go between VIC and Mijares...

I aint speaking on behalf of VIC, and believe me, VIC WOULD NOT DUCK MIJARES, ARCE, or ANYONE ELSE... and you know why?

It would still be a good fight and I would still favor Arce over Darchinyan as long as Arce still has the hunger despite being humbled as he just did..

And i think Mijares would dominate Darchinyan even worse then he did Arce I dont think Darchinyan would want any of Mijares and if he wants to not go into obscurity i would stay clear of Mijares.
