Roy Jones Jr: "I'll Fight Joe Calzaghe in July"

Obviously looking for one final mega-payday, former champion Roy Jones, Jr. is calling WBO super middleweight champ Joe Calzaghe to fight him in July. Jones told BBC Wales that he's willing to come down in weight to 168-pounds and even give Calzaghe the homecourt advantage by making the fight in the UK. [details]

I really dont believe Jones would come to the UK to fight.
      Why now?
      And at 168??

I just think its alot of talk for Jones to make a few headlines.
If the fight did happen old old Jones would get a beating IMO.

Everyone try to make headlines anyway possible, at least he stir up talks about a matchup and if Calzaghe answers back, then we may get someting, Calzaghe would be favored against new Roy but if old roy shows up ,roy will hand a beating to calzaghe and it will be rediculous

Lets be serious. No Jones would ever ruin Calzaghe. He might defeat him, possibly comfortably. But even today's Calzaghe would possibly count as the best fighter Jones ever fought.

Im a fan of both and id love it to happen. But personally dont want to see Jones get KTFO yat again.

Jones is so chinny now its silly. I think he knows Frank Warren aint gonna offer him enough money, and i just dont see him taking the risk of getting KO'd on foreign soil.

Jones has always been a hometown showman.

This fight shoulda happened 10 years ago. But it beats another Manfredo.

Jones could win this one if he lets his hands go.
