I know many American Boxing fans and their attitudes through the internet and have also lived in the United States.

You may not have grasped the meaning behind the word "generalisation. Maybe a brief re-cap is in order.

Statement A: "All the German people collaborated in Hitler's genocidal schemes".

Statement B: "Many German people collaborated in Hitler's genocidal schemes".



Statement A is an unfair generalisation. Statement B is not a generalisation. The word "many" does not have the same meaning as the word "most". Many can mean a sizeable minority, whereas most would mean a flat out majority of people.

You should also remember that the argument behind the generalisations are not always proved incorrect JUST because they are generalisations.

i find it hard to belive no one in the US has never booed at someone elses national anthem considering your the most xenophobic country in the entire world. This stuff happens the world over why is anyone surprized or bothered

...im serious, at sporting events here, another teams national anthem is rarely ever booed if ever, i ****in live here, and have gone to countless sporting events in which both canadian/mexican/english anthems have been played. we dont do that **** here on a common basis.

Jones would barely even have a slim chance at this point. I am a fan of Roy Jones, and Joe C for that matter, but it is clear that Roy just doesn't have it anymore.

Well up in where i am in North of england the support of your local team and local sporting heros is so passionate that the supporters will do anything to make the other team loose booing is one clear way to put them off their game. At the end of the day I and many of my friends dont give a **** about the national anthem anyways its just some stuffy old tune.

Jones isnt done... his just lost 3 times in his last 5 bouts, that not that bad... He'd give Joe a run for his money know doubt! Joe is a fast guy who throws alot of arm punches and doesnt have much on them, for instance the Manfredo fight what debacle that was why? stop the fight while Peter is bob and weaving and not being touched then when his gloves and occasionally face are being grazed!
