Damn if that man were ever to get KO'ed it would shake the whole ring. I hope it happens, maybe not against Chagaev. Maybe against Wlad if they fight.

      Ruslan Chagaev

In 1997, in the world amateur boxing championship in Budapest, an 18 year old boxer surprised the world and defeated the legendary Felix Savon (still in his prime at age 30) to win the gold medal. Savon at 6'6'' was much taller and had far greater reach that the young guy from Uzbek, who actually managing to outpoint Savon.

Ten years later, now age 28, the same Ruslan Chagaev is once again up against a seemingly unbeatable opponent, Nicolay Valuev. Can he do it again?

You would think it would be easier this time considering that Valuev doesn't have one tenth the boxing skill of Savon. But then again, Chagaev isn't 18 anymore. He may not have the same hunger within him that he had 10 years ago.

You guys know that if Valuev breaks Marciano's records and retires, in about 20 years time, when people forget how **** he was, you will get people on forums like these saying he is one the greatest and putting him on their all time lists lmao.

                    Just a thought.
