I've always liked Larry for the questions he asks. Not that Max doesn't have the knowledge, but he get annoying sometimes because his voice is too squeaky.

i'd welcome this change. not that i don't like merchant, i really enjoy his work but kellerman, to me - he would own that part.

i honestly think he'd be better at that post given the chance. understood, he has big shoes to fill, hbo should make this change.

I hope this is false. I've always liked Max ever since FNF but there's no one like Larry. HBO Boxing won't be the same with out him. I don't think Kellerman has the balls to ask the questions Larry asked. Merchant doesn't give a **** who's standing in front of him...LOL

I was wondering how long Merchant was going to last. He's grown on me over the years and he asks the questions I like to hear. I don't mind Max he is very enthusiasitic about boxing. I remember when he was on Around the Horn they actually talked about boxing a few times because of him. Like the article said I hope HBO gives Merchant the right send off.

Yeah I agree with that. At times he's very disrespectful toward fighters for not being Blood N Guts type. That's what I really don't like about him because it takes balls to step in the ring in the first place & he wouldn't have a job if it wasn't for boxing.
