Is Cotto Underrated

You think hes the definition of the next big thing but all im saying is hes hyped like hes all ready a top elite fighter so by that sense hes over hyped.He deserves credit for being a very good fighter for witch i give him based on his wins over solid fighters.In order for him to earn the hype and reach elite status i think he needs a win over one of the guys i mentioned also you can take away a few on that list and add others depending on the out come of scheduled upcoming fights.I think the best way for him to prove he deserves all the hype,cash and tv time hbo has given him is for Bob and Oscar to stop acting like bitches and put Cotto in with Mosley instead of Zab.

Zab is really a nobody now ... so even if he does beat him, im going to be one of those people who say ... so what? ... why would he want to fight a washed up fighter anyhow? could it be that he's bob arum's *****? as soon as cotto meats some really tough solid opponents he will be exposed ...

thats not a fair statement_ i know what you mean about DLH... he fough many big name opponents after using the blue print tito sctetched out by fighting those people first_
but the same cant be said about Floyd and cotto_ 2 completely different style_ floyd could never win the same way as cotto_ and cotto could never win the same way floyd. floyd hits runs and uses the sweet science_ cotto stalks and breaks his opponent's spirit and plan while applyin pressure and assulting the body... cotto hasnt used any of floyds or anyone else's fights as an example to follow_ he fights his fight and thats why he wins

Cotto is a very solid fighter who has fought some very solid comp. This fight against Judah should answer a lot of questions. I dont think he has fought anyone with Judahs speed and power so this is a big step up for him. If he wins he should def be looking for the bigger names out there if he can get by Margarito/Williams. So to answer the question no he is rated just about right and he is being progressed very well cant wait to see more of his fights even if he gets a L.

how is he hyped? I dont here a lot of people even here on NSB saying Cotto will clear out the Welterweight division, or Cotto will destroy mayweather, Mosley etc! Yeah people talk about him but its more of a buzz and a discussion on his potential. guess I dont see all this hype you are alluding to.
