You're right, I don't see why these people think Cotto will dominate Judah or somthing, Judah has been through it all pretty much. If Miguel starts getting frustrated with his style, which he usually does, he will probably be KO'd by Zab's counter left hand. This is just the way I see it, I've seen both fighter and Zab just has more variety to his game. Cotto can become predictable at times and Zab punishes that. I've seen Cotto take unecessary punishment throughout his career, but this is a step-up for Cotto, he better make some drastic changes with his game otherwise this can be stylistically a nightmare for Cotto. You're gonna see what I'm talking about...

I still think people put too much emphasis on one zab judah fight, and a rematch at that.
You make a good point, though..

But let me ask you; is the statement I used going to be more often true, or more often false?

Zab should win against this type of fighter, no?

I've said already I consider Baldomir more dynamic than Cotto.

Baldomir leads with left hooks - naturally, the way that Floyd does, and other good fighters do. He can clear everything out with a lead left hook..

          Baldomir has excellent footwork.

And he has a sneaky ass right hand.. A nice right hand.

I can't say as much for Cotto.

          He's.......... robotic..

          There.

From then on he will increasingly beat up on Zab.
Again. Did you see the Spinks fight? Corey was EASILY, and I mean easily manipulating the smaller Judah on the inside. He was easily the bigger man in that fight, and the stronger. Zab hadn't adapted to the new weight yet.

And the fact still remains that Zab has brought on the heat past the first 4 rounds, before. Check out the Ward fight.

Baldomir got lucky, he hit Judah in the temple when Judah is outpointing Baldomir, I don't know what the hell happened to Judah after that. I've watched Judah a lot and trust me he can make it a living hell for Cotto if he doesn't get overconfident or careless like he did against Baldomir.

honestly I disagree with pretty much everything you said.

I think Zab is gifted athletically, but I think he lacks true skills, hes got some flashy punches that he can pull of because hes gifted with speed/power/& being a lefty, but honestly for a guy with all that zab has never really been a dominant fighter

                  an SD with Corley
                  an SD with Rafael Pinada(?)
                  1-1 with Spinks
                  L to carlos baldomir

so no I dont see why Zab should be able to win against "this type" of fighter. But then I dont get why people consider cotto a 1-D kind of fighter either, when Ive always considered him a boxer-puncher type.

We feel exactly the same way - but for the opposite fighter it seems.

You think Zab is overrated to begin with it sounds like..

i think Zab is overrated, he's very naturally gifted in terms of speed, but he lacks the other intangibles that would make him a great fighter. he relies on his reflexes instead of developing better technique
