Zab should win Friday, but that doesn't mean anything when it comes to him.
Zab Judah: "Cotto is Tailor Made For Me"

I dont think Zab at his best has enough stamina to stay away from Cotto's body punches for twelve. He'll have to brawl as well. I see him hit Cotto with a some clean hard shots that could change things for a minute, but Cotto's relentless and will keep coming back.Comment

Judah will probably land some good punches early but eventually he's going to get beaten down and stopped. Could be earlier than that though with Judah's vulnerable during the early rounds. Remember that Judah was knocked down by Cory Spinks and lost to Carlos Baldomir who should have really been a hand picked type of oppenenent for him being that his defense is lacking, he not particularly fast, and he only has like 12% career KO percentage.Comment

I am not "the man" but I play one on t.v. lol.So your suggesting that if Zab does something he has never done before he will come out the victor?
Fighting 12 disciplined rounds against an A level opponent-this he surely has never done before and according to Zab Judah his best performance ever was his decision victory against Mickey Ward. If you watch that fight you realize how close on a couple of occassions Zab was to unraveling.
The question you must ask yourself is weather or not you believe Zab Super Judah can win a tough hard nosed give and take fight where in order to win you must show a considerable amount of heart. Ask yourself this question!
Zab winning with no problem, your the man Soundtraveler but I dont think you could be more wrong here.
I think a focused Judah wins, and by that I mean, he has to keep to the gameplan and stick and move. A fighter who doesn't stand in front of Cotto frustrates him. If Zab uses his quickness and power, rather than his own warrior instinct, he outboxes Cotto, who is not a finess fighter but he is a good brawler no doubt. Even when Paulie M. was using the jab and moving, you could see Cotto's inability to do much to a moving target. Granted, Paulie got his face messed up in that one, but it was when he went toe to toe with Cotto that he got nailed. I look for Judah to stick and move early in the fight, and not get into the toe to toe stuff until late, and then, it is Cotto who will be tasting power like he has never seen in an opponant, not the other way around. Zab has been there, done that, against MUCH better opposition, Cotto on the other hand, has not seen a fighter of Zab's skill level to this point in his career, and how he answers when Zab checks his chin will be the question. Not to mention Zab himself has a wicked body punch in his own right. Personaly, I can't wait to be a part of it all, and I am really looking forward to the crowd at Madison Square Garden - it's gonna be a blast...Comment

If he comes fighting like he did against Floyd, he stops Cotto with in 6. I don't think this fight goes 12 rounds either way. I think Zab will prolly pull the upset if he comes in shape and focused. 2 lefty going at it, should be exciting. If Zab can stay in the middle of the ring and use his speed and power then he will pull the upset. Cotto hasn't faced someone who can punch and move like PAulie, hell Zab's faster than Paulie. Zab could very well overwhelm Cotto with his speed, but if Cotto can cont. to cut off the ring like he has been and get Zab in the corner and against the ropes, then Cotto will finish him off with body shots. With that said, I think Zab pulls the upset on the Puerto ricans day!Cotto is no Tszyu, not just yet. I still think it's a relatively safe fight for Cotto because the layoff for Judah and the fact he's on the tail end of his career will make it easier for Cotto.
The question is, which Judah will show up? The Judah we saw against Baldomir or against Mayweather? If he comes in like he did vs Mayweather he could cause Cotto alot of problems.Comment
