He fought De La Hoya at 157. Floyd has to work to make 154. If they had ever fought at a catch weight of maybe 157 (and I'm talking about when Hopkins was able to make 157), Hopkins would still take it, Floyd is way too small.Comment

What a dumb thread.
Of course Bernard would win, he's just far too big. Just like Winky would beat Floyd at 154. You're talking about a man who could of spent the rest of his career at 135lbs, and started at JUNIOR LIGHTWEIGHT.Comment

Since moving more north and at his age, I dont think bhop would be able to make the weight now, if he did he'd probably pass out before he made it into the ring. Everyone around him even says that he was a big middleweight.Comment

Anyone who said B-hop would win is on crack. The question was current Hopkins against a current Mayweather. At this age Bernard can't drop that much weight. It'd kill him. He'd be drained in the fight and his inactivity and weakness would cost him.Comment

Hopkins is the naturally bigger guy and that gives him the advantage. He would have beat the **** out of Floyd.Comment
