if there's any real knock on steward its that he's more of an offense oriented trainor

he was bending down a lot in the brewster and williamson fights I remember. I thought his last few fights he's been more upright. he does still tend to bend down when he panicks but Im not sure if thats actually from manny or just a bad habit he picked up along the way? I guess only he knows for sure

Lou Duva ruined more great fighters than all the other trainers combined. If the fighters were so concerned about winning, they would work with Steward from the get-go, rather than hiring him as an afterthought. He is a great trainer. Probably you have no business criticizing him, since I doubt you have done anything like he has....

this i can agree with fully. h edoes suck as an analyst, and you know why, because he tends to contradict his words a lot like for example with(and niceguy, you may not like my example, but nonetheless, here it is) when he assumed that carlos baldomir would be a threat to floyd mayweather and after the 1st round, his assumption changed dramatically to well, floyd is too domiate for him with hi speed. hello manny, wake up man, everybody knew this. and another example that reall got me mad with him was when he did commentary on floyd's fight with corley. he claimed that floyd, when he moves up in weight should box more, and fight less, because it's too risky for him, and yet, while floyd was boxing carlos, he claimed all floyd does is potshot and he doesn't fight enough, and how margarito woul dgive him problems. you know, he said the same thing about sharmba mitchell when floyd was fighting corley. he claimed he would favor sharmba to beat floyd because of his southpaw style, and how his speed matches up with floyd. well, i have that fight, and sharmba's speed did not match up against floyd's speed at all. and, not saying that manny shouldn't have an opinion, because he is an all time great in training, but as far as analyzing fights, he needs to work on that a lot. another example is oscar vs mayorga. you know manny thought that mayorga would be too much for oscar, because of his power, and he disregarded oscar's boxing skill, until oscar pounded away on ******o ricardo, and manny changed his mind real quick didn't he?

klitschko is better than naz. he's made wlad unstoppable and certainly lewis was better than naz. wlad is seeming more and more to be like lewis, dominant, but thers always that one in a million hasim rahman lucky punch chance.
