still confused about the calzaghe stoppage

at first i though, what the **** manfredo could have fought on,which yeh he could, after the flurry, but at the time he had no chance of throwing back and the ref is supposed to stop the fight when a fighter cant defend himself yeah?

i havent been on here since the fight so i might be abit behing on what you have been talking about

oh the khan fight as well,do you think that was early? i dont to be honest, steffy wasnt fighting from the start anyway and khan landed some good shots towards the end

he was defending himself, with calzaghe landing next to nothing being thrown. It was my boy calzaghes worst offensive performance and manfredos best performance as a defensive fight...

lets say your manfredo, your head is rattling around like ****,all you can see is leather,he was looking at his feet aswel, not giveing any indication of throwing back, people say he was trying to tire him out,but he did look abit ****ed and shocked,it probably should have gone on though, for our entertainment to say the least lol

i got into 2 fights the night of that fight, won 1 and lost 1,the 1 i lost i the guy was massive and i just put my hands infront of my face and waited till he finished, looked like what manfredo did to me

Manfredo threw back though even when he was defending if you watch the fight. He had his head covered up, threw a punch back*missed but still threw a punch back* covered up. Fight should have gone on so people don't call bs on calzaghes 20th defense. But no the ref is a ****ing *******, and ruined calzaghes rep

Khans stoppage was a good stoppage, because Bull turned around and walked of,he just didnt want it,Calzaghe's was the worst ive seen,Manfredo WAS defending,he had his arms up,gloves to his face,he even began head movement then the ref stoped it out of nowhere, and 2 make it worse, this was a CHAMPIONSHIP FIGHT! lol the **** was terrible, watch Warrens face when hes walking to the ring after it is stopped,it will tell u all u need 2 know

That ref sucks. He came in mad late. He should have jumped in while Calzaghe was throwing the barrage of punches.. The ref was confused. Why does he even have that job?

It probaly would have made the stoppage look premature, but not a pointless premature stoppage. Yea im ****ing serious. Read my post over again. You'll probaly get it right this time. You might say that barely any punches where landing, but when you're leaning against the ropes it looks like punches are landing.

Calzaghe and the fans who paid were the victims, as well as Manfredo.

It was embarrassing to everyone - whether they see that or not.

Manfredo was surprised by the speed, but was not even close to being seriously hurt. The stoppage was awful and the ref needs to hit a treadmill.
