If he only had the power at the weight he would have made that an even better fight then it was. Great fight.

yeah, clottey is a great fighter. can put combos together flawlessly(sp)

but the heart corrales showed through all that, thats what stuck out. theres not enough respect in the sport to give to diego. may sound corny, but the will he showed...**** was crazy.

Honestly I think he'll be fine at this weight. Even though the scores were lop sided he fought well at times. He just needs to work his jab from the outside more and cut down on the inside fighting. I think a perfect gameplan for himat 147 would be how he fought Casamayor in the 2nd fight.

prior to the KD's, i thought CHICO could have won the fight if he just ran away in those last 30 seconds because Clottey was CONSTANTLY stealing rounds with combos that were difficult to watch.

But hes to mocho and running would be quitting to a guy like him.

"He was not afraid of any one and he was never embarrassed by a defeat."

i know its insignificant, but i had to bump this with the quote....i was kinda late in appreciating him as a fighter, but somthin about him just brings me to "aww"

he stays throwing untill hes no longer able too, and somthin tells me he doesnt do it for the "blood lust of the sport," but because he actually tried to win it for himself. that ****s just admirable..

                  .

his attitude of facimg and opponent is definitely old school if he fought someone he wanted to fight to the end, if he loss it was no big deal he would try to get a rematch and defeat them, his attitude definitely reminds me of the way fighters in past would behave. He also always put on fan friendly fights, when he leaves, if he ask the question " did i entertain?" he will get a loud response from fans saying " **** YEAH."

He's a true warrior, when he got beat by Mayweather I remember him being really upset that the fight was stopped. he was getting destroyed but was never gonna give up even if Mayweather put him down 40 times. heart of a champion.
