So your saying as long as the person doesn't have a loss then they're gold?

And yes some of his punches did go through manfredos guard. But that still doesn't prove **** that this stoppage was ridiculous, and that this ref should never work ever again. This is joes 20th defense and it ends like this... wow... He should really thank the ref for making his fight look like ****.
It was a stepping stone fight for Joe.
He was probably glad that it was over and done with, no one really thought it would be competitive anyway.

He believes the Manfredo fight assured him a 'big name' in his next fight. Thats all he was happy about IMO.

Yeah, you really sound like A Calzaghe fan. This fight did suck, just like Wlads last fight. I wait and wait and wait to see these guy's fight. And for what, to see A 1 or 2 round blowout . Cal's fight last night would of never went lasted, That fight would of been stopped in the third no matter what. And I love Larry Merchant to, **** Frank Warren, He turned 3 shades of red after Larry shunned him . And I truly believe Joe when he said that he would expose Kessler like he did Lacy. So now we have to sit and wait some more.

the ref's a ******. he robbed everybody. joe calzaghe didnt get a credible win, manfredo got ****ed in his first title shot, the fans got cheated out of a real fight, and joe calzaghe's reign of error continues.

It's better for Peter that it was stopped when it was. Much better. He's still young. Let him have a career. Let him tell everyone for the next ten years that he was robbed against Calzaghe. It's much better than what looked inevitable, a 7 or 8 round massacre that shattered him as a fighter and left him a comparitive wreck.

                  The ref ****ed up.
Warren ****ed up when he made Manfredo the "Big nr. 20".

It would have been ugly no matter what.

I'm sure that's right... Joe would doubtless have been KO'd by Manfredo so they thought "better give him half a chance".

Absolute bull**** stoppage, but let's not get silly now.
