Did Joe Calzaghe give the ref a sign to stop the fight? Or did the ref **** Joe?

Sorry, I meant that Calzaghe had this fight wrapped after the second round. Just the same way I knew Diego Coralles was beatin after the first minute and a half. Which ******, because Chico is one of my favorites

In boxing matches when the ref think the fighter isnt throwing punches he gives a warning for more action. He should have given Manfredo a warning. To say the ref thought Manfredo was hurt the ref would need to see evidence. Things like rubbery legs and actring like a drunk are the things to look out for. This is boxing and it is a hurting game and you are going to expect to get hurt with top boxers like Joe.
Well, he ate two body shots that hurt him. The first one caught him and his feet went flat. The second one caught him and he dropped his hands and backed into the ropes. Once he was on the ropes, Calzaghe was just raining shots on him and he threw one punch that missed, which Calzaghe ducked. Then Calzaghe was landing shots that pushed him over the ropes, after which he covered his face and bent forward to turtle. He wasn't moving his feet to get away and didn't show any signs of fighting back. When you see the replay, you can see a lot of shots were missing. The fight was stopped prematurely for sure, because the ref was airing a little too far on the side of caution, but the stoppage doesn't look nearly as bad when you see it at full speed.
